Secure English Language Test | 英文入学标准

The language of instruction at UM is English. If you have completed your secondary education overseas you are obliged to satisfy UM’s English language requirement by presenting a Secure English Language Test (SELT) result.

Deadlines  最后期限

31 August, for admission to courses commencing in October   10月入学，最后递交期限为8月31日。

31 January, for admission to courses commencing in February  2月入学，最后递交期限为1月31日。

If the test result is not submitted by these dates, applicants will not be admitted to the course even if all other entry requirements are satisfied.

Applicants for Master's courses by research are to submit the SELT pass before commencement of the course.

Applicants for Ph.D. programmes are to submit the SELT pass before commencement of studies.

如果考试结果没有及时递交，即使学生成绩都达到标准，也无法被授理。 研究型研究生可以课程开始前递交英文成绩。博士申请，可在研究开始之前递交语言成绩。

Exemptions | 免雅思成绩

Applicants who are nationals of English-Speaking Countries and completed their secondary education certificate in the same country; or applicants who successfully completed a full degree at a recognised Higher Education Institution in such countries may be exempted from presenting a SELT Certificate. The list of countries is indicated below:
